How to Join
Savannah State University National Alumni Association-Texas Chapter

The SSUNAA Texas Chapter is an extension of the national association. We promote the University’s interests by liaising between the national organization and our alums, students, and friends.
​
As a member of the SSUNAA Texas Chapter, you are encouraged to renew old and create new friendships through activities that may include sponsoring athletic watch parties and tailgates, assisting with student recruitment in a geographic area, and hosting university support-related events.
​
If you still need to do so, the SSUNAA-Texas Chapter encourages its Texas residents to become active by paying their local and national dues using the links below. If you would instead like to make a one-time donation, you can use the donation form to donate to Savannah State University. The SSUNAA-Texas Chapter is a 501(c)(3) organization, and any donation, no matter how big or small, is tax-deductible.

Reach out to alums living in the area to recruit a core group of members committed to the alumni chapter's objective.

Establish a communication plan to inform our members about the alumni chapter's activities and encourage participation.

Plan and execute events that bring alumni together and provide networking opportunities. These events could include social gatherings, professional development workshops, and community service projects.

Promote our university's and its graduates' achievements and create a positive image of our alma mater in the local community.

Collaborate with local organizations to promote the university through college fairs.
